I'm in the process of renovating my family bathroom and have been looking at <a title="oak bathroom cabinets" href=" removed link " target="_blank" rel="noopener">oak bathroom cabinets. I really like the natural wood finish as it gives a warmer and more premium look compared to plain white or grey units.

Before I buy one, I wanted to ask people who already have oak bathroom furniture:

• How well does it cope with moisture and steam?
• Is solid oak better than oak-effect furniture?
• Does the finish require much maintenance?
• Are wall-hung oak cabinets more practical than floor-standing ones?
• Do oak cabinets work well with modern bathrooms or are they better suited to traditional designs?
• Any brands or retailers you've had a good experience with in the UK?

I'm looking for something durable with good storage that won't go out of style in a few years.

I'd really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or even photos of your bathroom if you've installed oak cabinets recently.
