I'm in search of recommendations for companies that specialize in heavy-duty curtains specifically designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, particularly cold climates. These curtains must provide excellent insulation and are made from durable materials to effectively block out drafts and maintain indoor warmth. Additionally, I’m keen on finding options that are not only functional but also user-friendly when it comes to installation and maintenance. I would love to hear about any brands or products you have had positive experiences with. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

We're doing a ground floor extension. We're looking to install either crittall-style glazing or sliding glazed doors. The rear will be about 6m across and we're thinking of having about 4m of that for the rear glazing. Any pros and cons we should be aware of?

Hi all

Has anyone done a loft conversion with rooms at 2m finished ceiling height? We've found out enough to know that 2m is the minimum. Our Victorian terraced has a pretty low roof ridge. It's looking like we'll end up with 2m ceiling height unless we raise the ridge and/or get the floor lowered, which is a lot more expensive. Just wondering if 2m is enough and we shouldn't worry about it?

Thanks!
